Open meeting: Having a quorum present, Chairman Ostrowski opened the meeting at 7:05pm.

 

Approve minutes of September meeting: Tish motioned to approve the minutes, seconded by Brenda. Approved.

 

Old Business: Andrew Lonkey stated that he paid one years’ taxes. The Board questioned Mr. Lonkey regarding the items listed below.

 

1. All Property and School Taxes must be brought current. Partially paid

2. The dimensions of all the buildings must be listed on the site plan. He added most of them.

3. The restrooms must be noted on the site plan for all public buildings. He added them at the meeting.

4. The holding pond must be added to the site plan. Added on the site plan.

5. The parking lot lighting must be added to the site plan. He added them at the meeting.

6. An impound fence to screen the stored vehicles from the roadway must be indicated. He

talked about it. It wasn’t added to the plan.

7. All certificates must be provided. No certificates are needed from DOT at this point.

He’s not added the second driveway.

8. Handicap parking spaces must be added to the site plan. Was not marked on the plan.

9. Impound lot cannot contain more than 15 unregistered vehicles.

10. A lot having 20 or more parking spaces requires a shade tree. This must be added to the

      site plan. He will take care of this when it’s landscaped. Was not marked on the

plan.

11. There are 3 entrance bays on the building but only 2 are indicated. They are not

marked on the plan.

12. The site plan indicates a second driveway, but the curb cut has not been approved by

      Erie County Environment and Planning or the Dept of Transportation. He will not be

putting in another drive.

 

Also stated by the board:

1. Property up to 500 ft from the roadway is zoned Commercial. Past 500 ft is zoned

    Agricultural. Property beyond the 500 ft cannot be used for commercial. He marked on

the plan that the operating area is 330 ft.

2. Mr. Lonkey stated that auto repairs are not being preformed on the property at this point.

He did not address this issue. The chairman advised the board that he was

issued an appearance ticket.

3. Mr. Lonkey advised that the swimming pools currently stored on the property will be

    removed. A site inspection performed by member of the board indicated that the

swimming pool is still there.

4. There are 2 boats stored on the property. The boats are still there along with trailers.

5.  The Board stated that Mr. Lonkey needs to comply to the zoning laws just like everyone

     else.

 

Once Mr. Lonkey has addressed all of the concerns above, the board will then consider the application.

 

NEW BUSINESS

Recommendation of Chairman: Carol motioned to recommend to the Town Board the re-appointment of Joseph Ostrowski as chair for 2022, seconded by all. Approved.

 

A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Debbie seconded by everyone. Motioned approved
