NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Pursuant to the Code of the Town of Brant, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Town of Brant hereby gives notice of a public hearing on Monday, September 28, 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Brant Town Hall, 1272 Brant North Collins Road, Brant, New York, to consider the following:

Application for an interpretation variance at (SBL 283.00-3-16.2)
(Town of Brant ZBA Case 2026-02 – Brant Res Rd)

The applicant is requesting an interpretation of Town of Brant Code Section 69 – 8 b (3). This section of code exempts “small storage buildings” from the need to apply for a building permit. It has been established in Brant that any building over 144 square feet requires a building permit. Applicant is requesting an exemption for his newly built 560 square feet building.

All interested parties will have opportunity to speak on the matter.
