The Town of Brant swore in its new police chief, Mr. David Hock on April 24, 2006 during a special meeting held at the Town Hall.  Eighteen applications were received for the position.  Although the decision was a difficult one, Town Board members agreed that Mr. David Hock was the best candidate for the position.

Chief Hock comes with 8 years patrolman experience in various towns which include North Collins, Eden, Franklinville, Springville and Gowanda.  He is also responsible for the Sheriff's K-9 Unit at the Erie County Fair which includes 10 officers and dogs.
