Dear
Brant Residents,
Welcome
to the town of Brant website, we developed this site for you, to
give you the most up to date info on your town. We urge you to check
in regularly for information on the town of Brant. We will post
information of up coming meetings and activities as well as material
of recent happenings such as minutes and financial reports.
It
is our hope to use this website as a main communication vehicle
between the administration and the citizens of Brant. We also will
still be using conventional practices to inform you of Town of Brant
happenings (printed material and mailings) but this website is the
least expensive way for the residents of Brant to get information
and is the most convenient, with the most complete set of current
information on our Town and is only a key stroke away.
We
would like your input in helping us to develop this website for
you, if you would like to see something placed on this site just
E-mail your requests.
The
Goals of this administration are simple:
- Honest Open Caring Government
with sound financial practices
- Dealing with the Issues
facing us and planning for the future with prudence
- Returning the government
back to the people by being reponsible and accountable
- Informing the residents
of Brant to bring about more citizen participation
Our
concern is what Brant will be like in the next 10-15 years. Our
objective is to preserve the rural character we all love. Develop
new ideas to promote controlled growth and revitalize our existing
business with new concepts with different perceptions.
In
the past 25 years our town has slipped quite a bit, but the charm
of rural living is still here. Brant is like an old classic car
that has been neglected and all we have to do is work together as
a community and buff the shine back into Brant. Give of yourself,
talk Brant up and join committees that promote our area. I know
that you love Brant as I do, so get involved and join in with your
neighbor and bring pride back to Brant.
We
will be writing much more in the months ahead, and I personally
ask you to join us in this common journey as we grow together.
I
am dedicated to the residence of Brant, because I do care.
